Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cameroon Office invites prospective bidders for the supply of vehicles for the project “Enhancing Awareness and Capacity Building for the Public Service Transformation in Cameroon”
The Project is constructed with grant aid of the Government of Republic of Korea
Brief of Bidding
- Bid Title: supply of vehicles for the project “Enhancing Awareness and Capacity Building for the Public Service Transformation in Cameroon”
- Contract Duration: 60 days from the effective (contract) date
- Estimated Budget: USD 190,000 (VAT excluded)
- Work Scope
• Supply of Two (2) vehicles (Two mini buses).
• Delivery of vehicles to a location to be designated in the contact (the supplier is responsible for all expenses including transportation insurance, customs clearance fee, etc.).
• Provision of manuals in English and French language.
• Management of training for users.
• Repairing of defects for 2 years.

⑨ Consortium or Joint Venture is NOT allowed for this Bid.
Price proposal shall be equal or less than the ‘Estimated Price’ and equal or more than the ‘Minimum Price’. Any bid exceeding the above limitation may result in rejection of its bid.
- ‘Estimated Price’ will be announced at the Bid Opening by a random draw and ‘Minimum Price’ will be determined based on the announced ‘Estimated Price’.
- Details of Selection of the Successful Bidder, Eligibility Evaluation, Determination of ‘Estimated Price’ and ‘Minimum Price’ will be explained during the Pre-Bid Meeting.
Price proposal by bidders and final contract price shall be exclusive of VAT.
As this bid is a part of ODA (Official Development Assistance) project between the Governments of Republic of Korea and Republic of Cameroon, this project benefits exemption of Value Add Tax (VAT) according to the Framework Agreement Arrangement between both countries, Thus, KOICA Cameroon office is not responsible for VAT discharge or refund. All inquiries regarding VAT exemption or tax refund shall be referred to relevant ministry in case needed. .
